Come see us tomorrow at the Old Westbury Gardens Petco on Long Island! We’ll be joining Long Island Bulldog Rescue and Mid-Atlantic Bulldog Rescue out there to help spread some pittie love and get some doggies adopted!
We’ll definitely have Helena with us:
And also the beautiful Lala:
And if we don’t see you there, have a great weekend!
Helena’s foster mom dropped her off with me this morning so I could escort her to the vet. She was so well behaved on our long walk to the doctor’s office – I was very impressed. Always excited to explore the world, meet new people, and new dogs, Helena had a blast walking through new neighborhoods and busy city streets.
“Can we go to the opera instead?”
We stopped by Lincoln Center for a little culture. The plaza was completely empty, which is a rare site, so we had to stop for a short photo opportunity.
“Temporary Foster Dad: you deserve a new iPhone 5 for all this hard work.”
And she seemed to love the Apple Store on the Upper West Side, but I really think she was mostly enamored with her beautiful reflection in the window.
We’ll let you know how her operation goes later on today!
Helena is still available for adoption, so if you’re interested in applying to adopt her, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Special thanks to our friend Madeline for the great graphic!
At the end of last week, you may have seen this picture on our Facebook page. Well, here she is, folks: the beautiful Helena! Bully Project rescued her from the public shelter in Brooklyn and she’s now living comfortably in a foster home, waiting for her forever home. Is that you?
Helena is a year old pit bull mix who loves nothing more than snuggling. The more on top of her human she is, the better. She can start out a bit shy, but definitely warms up very quickly once she realizes there’s another hand to pet her and scratch her butt. And her expressive eyes always show her gratitude for the attention you pay her.
Helena is already vaccinated and microchipped and will be spayed before adoption. She is housebroken, crate trained, super dog friendly and eager to learn whatever you’re willing to teach her. She’s a young girl, so continued training will be crucial in developing a strong and lasting relationship with this sweetheart.
If you would like more information about Helena, or to apply to adopt her, please email email@example.com.
