Letters from Lucy

1 Nov

Hi everyone! Lucy here!

Yesterday, Dad posted this picture of me for “Wordless Wednesday”:

This is what I did to keep myself happy when Dad and I were stuck inside for almost two whole days. He said there was something called a “stupor-storm” outside, and we couldn’t go out there (even though we actually went out for more walks than normal!) So while we were cooped up, I got this awesomely, hugely, wonderful antler from Acadia Antlers! This is the biggest antler I’ve ever seen and I LOVE IT!

But my hopefully new best friend, Baci, wasn’t so lucky. First of all, she’s living at a vet’s office right now (yikes!), and that place doesn’t have any fun things. Even worse, they don’t have any lights, so it’s very, very dark. I hope Baci doesn’t have to live at the vet for very much longer!

Always good to hear from you , Lucy, and see a picture as well. You look very happy with your antler. Hopefully, things will be back to normal soon. Can’t wait for you and Baci to meet. She’ll have a good mentor in you.

Antlers are the BEST during a storm!

Lucy, you look very happy with your antler!!!!! Tons of fun. So glad that you and your dad made it through the storm unscathed and didn’t lose power and water. And that is so sweet of you to be concerned about Baci!!!! We also can’t stop thinking about her and can’t wait to see her. And as worried as we are, we know that things would be much worse for Baci right now if Bully Project had not decided to pull her from the ACC last Saturday, so kudos to Bully Project for that. XXOO to you.

Going to check out that antler link. Badger and Mushroom love antlers but for some reason always want the toy that the other dog has. We’ve found that if we get a big enough antler, they can share for a couple of days until it gets whittled down.
