Adoptable Pittie of the Week: Terrisa

2 Apr

After our Bully Project classes yesterday (which you’ll be reading more about later this week), we went to the ASPCA‘S Mega Match-A-Thon Adoption Event. While there, we met a very special little girl available for adoption through Sean Casey Animal Rescue named Terrisa.

Terrisa

Terrisa is a completely deaf pittie mix. She’s all white (almost silvery, really) with those uniquely colored eyes. Despite her lack of hearing, she’s super smart and attentive, responding well to hand signals and fun, positive reinforcement training. She is a puppy, so of course, she’s full of energy, and would be a great fit for someone with an active lifestyle and some space to run and play.

She is currently being treated for a slight case of demodectic mange, for which the rescue will provide her adopter medicine to complete her recovery. She is already spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, and comes with one free month of pet health insurance and one free exam at Sean Casey’s vet! She is so darned cute that they had her working the donations table at the event:

So if you think you or someone you know might like to adopt Terrisa, please go visit her at Sean Casey’s adoption center, located at 153 E 3rd Street in the Windsor Terrace area of Brooklyn, NY. They’re open everyday from 11am to 7pm.

BONUS ADOPTABLE OF THE WEEK: Jenny, also from Sean Casey Animal Rescue

Jenny

We also met Jenny at the adoption event, and just couldn’t decide which dog to feature on our blog, so we’re sharing both! Jenny is a 4 year old pittie mix who recently gave birth to a litter of 9 puppies. She was a great mom to her pups, most of whom have now been adopted. Wont you help Jenny find the same happiness that her puppies found? Sean Casey will include all the same benefits for Jenny’s adopters and she is located at the same adoption center in Brooklyn, NY.
