Our 100th Post!!

8 Mar

This is OFFICIALLY our 100th post! This blogging thing was very foreign to both of us, but we’re so pleased we picked it up and have come this far. And along with our 100th post, we have also moved over to our very own domain! You can now find us at http://thattouchofpit.com/, however, https://thattouchofpit.wordpress.com/ will also still work!

And what better way to celebrate than with a giveaway?! Last week, Josh found a great new Etsy shop through one of his regular blog reads, Dog Milk. The shop is called Pop Doggie, and Kari creates awesome pop-art inspired breed-specific prints and magnets with clever catchphrases. We were especially happy to see that she includes our own favorite breed in her art.

We asked Kari if she’d be willing to give us one set of her pit bull magnets, and she agreed!

One of our lucky readers will get this set of magnets – and all you have to do is leave us a comment on here telling us which of our past 100 posts has been your absolute favorite. All comments must be made by midnight tonight, March 8, 2012. We will then randomly select a winner and announce it tomorrow, along with some very exciting news, so make sure to check back tomorrow!

Congratulations on your 100 post. I love them all. My favorite is “Saving a life in my pjs”. I also love “wordless Wednesdays”

I don’t know about “favorite” (there are a lot!) but one that made a big impression on my was “Guest Post: Jenny Chun-Ossowski from Give Paw Dog Training” about traveling through areas with BSL. I felt like it was a huge wake-up call, and that we had doged a serious bullet – even though it’s not an issue anymore (THANK YOU Ohio HB-14!), we have family in Ohio and we drive to visit them often, with Oscar riding happily in the backseat. It never even crossed our minds that until recently, Ohio was a state with BSL laws. We’re thankful we never had an issue, and even more thankful that HB-14 has now removed “pit bull” from the description of characteristics of a vicious dog.
